First Impressions

Well, the adventure has officially begun!  After a 9 hour flight from Calgary, in which I slept about 5 (record sleep time on a flight), I arrived in Amsterdam.  The family was waiting for me and was just as excited and nervous as I was!

I haven't really done much yet.  The kids and I went on a walk to the school and around the neighborhood and then I just chatted with Jerry and Kristel (the parents) about the routine and stuff.  It feels like a lot to remember but I'm sure I'll fall into it fairly easily.

Here are some pictures of my room.  =)  It's a really nice house!

These are the killer stairs.  Fairly certain I'll trip up and/or down them at some point.
This is the view from my bedroom window!  It's so pretty, the picture really doesn't do it justice.

That's all for now!

  2. Oh my goodness!! That's absolutely lovely, Kaylee!! Do you have your own bathroom too? Wow. Sounds like a great start! Please please please be careful on those stairs. You should make it into a slide, maybe?

  4. Jamie and Jacquelyn, you'd both love the bathroom. It's absolutely gorgeous. Just the right touch of girliness. ;)

And Jamie, I don't think the slide thing would work, but I promise I'll never run. ;)
